Avant le soudage, le mat\u00e9riau doit \u00eatre pr\u00e9chauff\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 400\u00b0C \u2013 450\u00b0C. La temp\u00e9rature des passes interm\u00e9diaires ne doit pas descendre en dessous de 400\u00b0C \u2013 500\u00b0C. Apr\u00e8s le soudage, un recuit de d\u00e9tente ou un traitement de trempe et revenu peut \u00eatre effectu\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement. Si un traitement de revenu est effectu\u00e9 ensuite, la pi\u00e8ce doit \u00eatre refroidie lentement \u00e0 100\u00b0C \u2013 150\u00b0C. Un recuit de revenu d'au moins 4 heures est effectu\u00e9, apr\u00e8s transformation compl\u00e8te de la martensite, \u00e0 740\u00b0C \u2013 780\u00b0C.
